MY SKIN REPAIR PRODUCTS- TOP 3 PICKS

 Hello My Skincare Nerds 🤓,

In today's post, I'll share with you my top 3 picks for skin-barrier supporting or healing products. But first, let's discuss my skin type. I have sensitive and combination skin. I use these products when my skin red, irritated, or inflammatory skin due to some reaction or weather/seasonal allergy.

1) COLLOIDAL OATMEAL

The benefits of oats—whether applied topically or consumed internally—are well known to all. Colloidal Oat has long been used by people as a soothing agent to reduce eczema-related inflammation and itchingThis is one of the best colloidal oatmeal powders I've ever used. Because to its fine grinding, it has a smooth texture. My skin's redness, itching, and burning sensation disappear right away after using this powder.

  • How I use It : I made a paste out of one teaspoon of this powder and water, cooled it in the fridge for five minutes, and then applied the mixture all over my face.
  • Brand I use (Buy here)Blend It Raw Apothecary Colloidal Oatmeal Powder (non-affiliated)
  • Rating5/5

2) PHYSIOGEL CALMING RELIEF MOISTURISER

This moisturizer is an absolute blessing. It has such a lovely and healing ingredients to support & repair  compromised skin barrier. It has repair my irritated and inflamed skin just in 3 days.  It soothes the redness and itching that come with it while also providing excellent skin hydration. I will highly recommend this product if you have seasonal allergy or disturbed skin barrier problem then give this cream a shot.

3) PETROLATUM/ PETROLEUM JELLY

Petroleum Jelly is also known as petrolatum, which is an FDA-approved skin protectant. It is non-comedogenic, which means that it is 100% safe for people with acne. The reason it's referred to as the "benchmark" of occlusive substances is that it forms a physical barrier that stops moisture loss (also called trans epidermal water loss) from occurring.
  • How I use It : I smear a tiny coating of Vaseline over my entire face after using a moisturizer.
  • Rating: 5/5 (Best occlusive)

Disclaimer: This is a ride-or-die approach for irritated skin, and these are the procedures and products I use whenever I feel like my skin is compromised. However, please use it with caution when applying it to skin and conduct a patch test beforehand, as each person's skin type and sensitivity tolerance level is different.

----Thank you For Reading,
🍀Lets be together to maintain each others skin-barrier level.
